Love for the mountains took Rita Gombu Marwah to dizzy heights. Growing up in India’s first family of mountaineering, her heart yearned for Mount Everest. A member of Bachendri Pal's 1984 Everest team and a remarkable climber in her own right, Rita came agonisingly close to realising her dream. Heartbreak came just 200 metres from the summit.
